Breaking news - the much loved Domino magazine is folding!

My heart sank when I read the news on A Cup of Jo this morning.

Conde Nast has confirmed that it will cease publication of both the magazine and the site as of March.

Ah I love Zooey!

Although I didn't agree with all of her styling, I did love Mary McDonald's use of a chalkboard. Chalkboards are so simple but fun. Try making your own with blackboard paint from a craft store.

This bra featured on the French inspired Editors Picks page - so girlie and pretty!

I adored Sunrise Ruffalo's house. This entryway features perfectly mismatched artwork and found objects.

Even the kids rooms were amazing - the 'peace on earth' banner came from a local flea market.

Four things I loved this weekend...

MAC

Slumdog Millionaire - What a great movie. I also loved the book which was quite different than the movie. I suggest you check out both!

Although I debated trying something different, I repurchased the Mac Plushlash and I am glad I did! They modified the brush and it is quite an improvement on the original shape. Love!

After reading Skinny Bitch I've been paying more attention to purchasing organic products (especially wines). The organic Grenata Malbec 2007 is delicious!

On Saturday we celebrated a friends birthday at a Belgian restaurant called Chambar. The Moroccan Lamb Tagine was to die for. I found this recipe online and am inspired to try Moroccan cooking!

In case you haven't heard, the incredible Spike Jonze is directing a live action movie version of Where the Wild Things Are. I loved this book and wanted to be Queen of the Wild Things!

The movie is scheduled for release in Fall '09.

GOOP - Gwyneth and friends favorite books

The new issue of GOOP featured Gwyneth's high profile friends such as Madonna and Christy Turlington discussing their most loved books.

Madonna listed The Bad Girl by Mario Vargas Llosa among her favorites. How ironic...

Christy chose one of my personal favorites Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.

As for Gwyneth - she first read Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte at age 10 and has read Fyodor Dostoevsky's Crime and Punishment numerous times.

How cute are these two? Before their first dance as President and first lady, Barack greeted the crowd with - "First of all, how good looking is my wife?".

Designed by Isabel Toledo, Michelle's inauguration ceremony dress featured a beautiful jewelled collar.

The white, one shoulder gown she wore for the ball was created by a relatively unknown designer - Jason Wu.

Hamish Bowles (Vogue) called the gown "supreme modern elegance. A pitch-perfect choice: appropriately formal but romantic and imaginative."

According to tradition, Michelle's ball gown will be donated to the Smithsonian.

Modelizing - Erin Wasson

Erin's signature edgy yet effortless style has earned her a loyal following in the fashion world. Alexander Wang recruited her to style his line and she recently partnered with RVCA to create her own women's wear collection.

Erin is also the cover girl for this month's Fashion and can also be seen alongside Justin Timberlake in his William Rast ads.

Four things I loved this weekend....

Starbucks....and the gift card I received from Jen! Nothing better than a hazelnut americano misto on a Saturday morning.

The beautiful tiered eggplant colored silk blouse I found at artizia. Their holiday sale is winding down but there are some great deals to be found.

Skinny Bitch....my friend Lula turned me on to this and it was a great read. You'll never look at dairy the same way again.

The boy and I just finished watching the previous seasons of Entourage. Ari Gold is amazing.
